Skills/ Tutorials Accessed - How Knowledge Was Applied
These images show evidence that I have watched different tutorials on the internet in order to improve my editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. This was useful because often, it was simple things that really changed my film opening. Hopefully, because of watching these videos and improving my editing, my video will look better quality and more professional. In addition, it allowed me to be more creative and unique with my editing, now that I have a better understanding on how to use the software. I was capable of doing things that made my film more recognisable as a thriller, such as changing colouring, speed, and sound that all will contribute to the tone of the film and the emotions that I want the audience to experience at certain points.
This was the first video I watched on Youtube that feature the very basics of editing. Before watching this, I had never used Adobe Permiere Pro and after I had a basic understanding of how too use the software. After this I was able to build on my knowledge by using the software myself and trying things out/experimenting.
After watching this tutorial, I learnt how to create the look of a camera movement on Adobe Permiere Pro. With this knowledge, I decided to create a 'fake' pedestal where the shot will look like the camera is moving up.
After I began editing, I watched this video on how to improve my editing by doing simple things. I learnt how to improve by changing things such as colouring and footage quality. Next, I implemented my knowledge by changing and improving my film opening.
