Evidence of Using Lighting Techniques
Evidence of Using Lighting Techniques
These photos show evidence that I have used lighting techniques in my film. The first image shows that I have used a large studio light. I used two of these and placed them infront of my subject. I used these to create a three point lighting set up. I wanted one to act as a key light and the second one to act as a fill light. I felt that I didn't need a back light because the lights on the ceiling were bright enough. To set this up, an additional crew member had to help me because the lights were heavy and I did not want to break them. I wanted a lot of light in this scene because my subject is the students of a classroom and I wanted them to be properly shown in the shot, in a bright and pleasant way. The second image shows that I used a Pro LED 650 dimmable LED light to create a key light for the subject. I wanted little light in the shots I used this because I was in the forest and I wanted to reflect the dark surroundings. In addition the dark setting reflects the genre of my film and I felt like it added extra tension to my film. All together, I used a lot of lighting and little lighting in different shots of my opening sequence because I wanted to show a lot of variety which will hopefully make my film seem more unique and creative.
