Evidence of Using Clapper Board

 Evidence of Using Clapper Board

This video shows evidence that I used a clapper board whilst filming. A clapperboard is typically used in filmmaking to mark what shot you are shooting and what take. This makes the editing process much easier as you can easily identify what shot you are currently watching. This is useful if you know what shots you already want to use and what shots are bad. This then makes importing and organising footage much easier as well. In addition, if a film creator looses footage then they can easily identify which footage is lost or may need to be refilmed, alongside just remaining up to date on what has already been filmed. It is important to stay organised, in order for the editing process to run smoother without the stress of misplacing footage or spending lots of time looking through potentially bad footage just to find the footage that you want. Personally, I found this useful when editing because I could easily find the footage that I wanted just by seeing the clapper board at the start of each video which stated the scene and take each video was. I feel that this made editing much easier for me.
