Evidence of Using The Camera Equipment
These photos shows evidence of me using camera equipment. In the first image you can see that I am using a tripod. This will help me steady the camera and create camera movements such as a pedestal. In the second image you can see that I am using a amazon smartphone video rig. This will help me to create a steady shot when I am using the camera on my phone because the phone is ore stable and easy to use alongside being capable to create camera movements such as a hand held follow. In the third image you can see that I am using a camera slider which helps me to create steady and precise camera movements such as a truck. By using this equipment, I was able to capture clear and steady footage that will make my final opening sequence look very professional and high quality. In addition, I believe the range of camera equipment that I used meant that I could create very creative shots using both a camera and my phone. I was able to capture a range of shot types and camera movement which collectively help the audience to establish my film opening as thriller. For example, the tripod allowed me to capture a pedestal where the tense facial expressions of a character are shown. the video rig allowed me to capture a shot where the main character is running from danger. The slider allowed me to capture a shot where the main character enters her home during the equilibrium (Todorov's narrative arc). These are all typical conventions of a thriller film.
