Evidence of Editing (Changing Speed)

 Evidence of Editing (Changing Speed)

This photo shows evidence that I have changed the speed of shots in Adobe Premiere Pro during the editing process. Typically, this is done by film creators to create a certain effect or tones and reflect the mood of the scene that is already present. Hopefully, changing speed in my film will make it more appealing to an audience because it makes it more interesting to watch due to the different range of speeds.

This photo shows evidence that I have increased the duration of the running shot which will decrease the speed to create a slow motion effect. This is a very tense and dramatic moment and I felt that a decreased speed would enhance and focus the audience's attentions on the tension and drama present. This will help the audience to identify the films genre as thriller, since tension is such a common convention of thriller films.
