Risk Assessment
This documentation is evidence that I have completed a risk assessment. A risk assessment is an evaluation and identification of things, objects and situations etc. that may cause harm to people in a workplace. After identification is made, you analyze and evaluate how likely and severe the risk is. When this determination is made, you can next, decide what measures should be in place to effectively eliminate or control the harm from happening. Risk assessments are very important and form an integral part of an occupational health and safety management plan. They usually create awareness of the risks, identify who may be at risk, determine whether a control program is required, determine if existing control measures are adequate, prevent harm and meet legal requirements. If a risk assessment is not completed and someone gets harmed then a film maker or company can suffer legal consequence. I have completed my risk assessment as a table because you can easily see and read the different risks, who may be harmed, the actions taken and the level of risk. A table shows the information in a effective and organised manner which is important as it is necessary to be aware of all potential risks. A organised system means that no risks will be forgotten, left out or difficult to read/ understand. A disorganized and messy system for displaying a risk assessment can be almost as dangerous as not completing one if the information is too difficult to understand and read. Completing a risk assessment impacts my final production through highlighting the different actions that I need to take on set of my filming locations to ensure everyone's safety. When I reach filming I can easily complete every action to ensure that my film can be created in an easy way. If I had not completed a risk assessment and someone got hurt, them my film could be delayed or even cancelled. My risk assessment is professional and industry standard because I have successfully evaluated each risk and the actions needed to be taken to minimize that risk.

Industry Standard Example
This industry standard example of a risk assessment is comparable to mine, it includes most of the same sections as mine does and includes as much detail as mine. The only difference is that they have different hazards than I do, this is because they are producing a different film in different locations.
